Fine art prints information

If I have missed any questions regarding ordering a fine art print, please just get in contact and I will update this page. Thank you.

Q. Can I order fine art prints without frames?

A. Yes, every fine art print will be available as a print only option.

Q. Do you have different print size options?

A. Yes, all prints will have different sizes available, the number of size options will depend on the photograph. This will be clearly stated on each print information page.

Q. If I order fine art prints with frames, can they be shipped to me?

A. No, the frames are made with expensive glass and solid wood frame construction, therefore the risk of transport damage is very high unfortunately. All framed prints will be available for collection from my showroom.

Q. Do you run limited runs on some prints?

A. Currently no. There will likely be limited runs in the future. I’ll make it clear when available.

Q Why do you use the term “genuine fine art photography prints”?

A. In summary, the scene that was in front of me when photographing is what you see in the photograph. I’m not using AI to add or replace any components of the image.  For example, there is no sky replacement, AI generated content fill, removing or adding people, animals or objects etc.

Q. What papers do you use for your prints?

A. All the papers that are used are classed as Fine Art Gallery grade. This means that this is the highest quality paper that exists today. It is gallery grade and expected to last for hundreds of years.

Q. Why do you put the ratio as a specification on images?

A. When getting frames built, the ratio of the image size is very important - so for example if you have a 3 : 1 ratio print, that means that frames with mounts (openings) of 600mm x 200mm, 1200mm x 400mm, 1500mm x 500mm will all work.

Q. How fast will my print order be delivered after order confirmation?

A. For prints the order will be delivered within 48 hours  (if received before 1 pm on weekdays)  ** Friday orders will be received by the following Tuesday**

Please note that fine art prints with frames will be ready for collection from our showroom after 6 working days.

Q. Do you sign the front of the prints?

A. I currently don’t sign the front of the prints. I believe this can be distracting. All my prints will have the signed label on the rear of frame with an authenticity cert also. This may change in the future but for now this will be the case.
